[Job Completed] Anyone Around to make a quick 10 bucks Photochopping?

Recommended Posts

I need an edit on a photo.

Making  fridge magnets for my moms service to hand out to my aunts - happening this coming Tuesday.

I want to bring forward mom and dad, and put some kind of heavenly background behind them.

And then the saying under them that is there.

I'm running out now to go find some magnet paper to print on, and will paypal who ever is up for the job.

The photo is here:

Just tossing it here, but will go elsewhere if everyone is busy. :)

Feel free to elaborate on some other sayings if you were just poking in this thread and curious.

Here are some of the other ones my sister and I discussed this morning:

"Did you remember to turn off the coffee pot?"

"It's ok. I left Darryl in charge." (darryl is my older brother)

"Jill's just as crazy as the day you left."

"Don't you remember the last time we left those kids alone?"

"They better'd not do something silly like make us a fridge magnet."

"How are the fishing holes up here?"

"You know those kids are gonna kill each other now."

"Those kids are getting how much money for the house?"

"Do you think I packed enough for this trip?"

"Dick, you know I don't like surprises"

"Dick, I told you not to get ahead of me"

"So they lost my reservation and that's what took so long?"

I almost think I might be onto a new business.

Anyway, this is supposed to be a "celebration of life" so I'm running with the party favors idea.

SEMrush

"Crap. There's Torme. I think he wants his suit back."

"You know, I thought the buffet would be better."

"Enough with the harps already. Can a girl get a trumpet or something?"

"I'm telling you, Dick, that gate wasn't 'pearly'. Are you sure this is the right place?"

"Yes, Joan, I'll show you my wings later."

"It's Heaven, Joan. This suit's always in style."

"Don't look. It's Ed Turner. Did you ever give back his lawn mower?"

Jill - Shane is really good at graphics......and restoration.  Just remember to specify no aliens in the pic.  :D

Alien ship in the background may not be so far off as to where mom and dad went. ;)

Jill,

I'll try to give it a go in Photoshop tomorrow afternoon/evening. I'm not sure I'll be able to erase the existing background though, as the color scheme with your dad's shoes being dark like the floor in the pic, and the browns in the background are real close in some places to your Mom's hair. I tried to do a quick background erase method, and that didn't turn out to well. Let me see if I can trace out your parents, if so... adding a new background is a piece of cake.

Well, my paypal account is bulging.

Didn't want to toss this on you unless you have time - but don't be spending 4 hours on it cause I know your time is worth more than that. ;)

Dan, I just want to tell you that you had my sister in tears laughing.

We particularly like the "pearly gates" reference as my mother was always questioning everything and nothing was ever just right or good enough.

Glad I could be of some help. I know you don't want condolences, so I'll just wish you good luck with the service.

Picked up some nips today to stick in my purse.

It's a celebration after all. ;)

Is the dot on his eye an artifact?

Whatever.

I'm not a pro at this or anything.

Like cutting them out and having it not look like crap is not something I can really do.

Art Nice editing job I like that. Looks like Dad is smiling to arrive at the Pearly Gates. Mom is looking over him one final time to make sure his tie is straightened properly before stepping thru those gates !!

The magnets came out great!

I had to print on some nice photo paper, and then used a spray glue to apply to the magnetic sheet. My sister even wants one with a funny saying to put on her fridge.
